First off, what are your prices for weddings?
Our wedding photography packages start at $2500. All packages are customized according to your needs. Send us an email so we can discuss all of your wedding details.
How would you describe your style of photography?
We approach your wedding as a special day in your life in which you want us to capture the beauty so you can cherish those memories forever. We first take the time to get to know you better and find out what is most important to you both. Candid photos are extremely important so we can capture those little moments in time that can tell a story all on their own. Formal shots of family and friends groups are key as well as you can remember those special people who shared your day with you. Posed candids is an approach we provide to make sure we get to use our creative skills with light and posing to provide you with those “wow” photos, fine art images you would see in a bridal or fashion magazine. Detail photos are super fun so that you can remember those things you may have missed while enjoying your day.
Do you suggest we hire a wedding planner?
We recommend you hire a planner because things just run so much more smoothly. Wedding planning is often time consuming and time sensitive work and we think you should enjoy your day first and foremost. A planner can devote his or her time to you since that is their profession. Friends and family may be very creative and/or reliable, but this does not mean they have the skills and knowledge that comes with the experience of event management. If you need recommendations, we work with some amazingly creative and reliable planners in the wedding industry.
Do you travel?
Yes, and our passports are up to date! Put us on a plane and we will follow you almost anywhere. We have photographed weddings all over the world; from Hawaii to Paris, France; from beaches to mountains; and from churches to barns. Contact us for a custom quote.
May we meet in person to talk about our wedding?
Of course! We encourage a face to face meeting before booking. We feel it’s important to begin learning about you and your fiancé so we can better serve your needs as a couple.
Are engagement photography sessions included?
It all depends on you, and whether you want an engagement session. We would love to photograph you before your wedding. It’s important to get to know you better in front of a camera. You can pick out some cool spots that you and your fiancé enjoy or we can help find a place. All packages are custom, so it’s up to you.
Should we do a “first look” before the ceremony?
Before you decide whether you should or not, consider the potential benefits and drawbacks of doing a “first look.” It might be a good way to get rid of some of those tears, but then it might water down the experience of walking down the aisle and seeing your partner for the first time that day. Enjoying a private moment before the wedding frenzy begins could be good but then sometimes we love wedding frenzy time. It might be fun to wear your dress or tuxedo longer and get ready earlier, or the anxiety of getting ready too early could be a bit much. We leave this up to you and will cover your day of fun.
How long until we get to see our photos?
We edit all of our images prior to releasing them so you receive the best quality. Depending on the season you choose, we can deliver them between 4 to 6 weeks. We take pride in capturing your special day and make sure to give you our best.
How many images will you send us?
There are many factors which will determine the number of images you will receive. The quantity will depend on the size of the bridal party, the number of guests, the duration of your wedding and many other things. We typically provide anywhere from 1000-1500 images from a wedding.
How will you deliver the images from our wedding?
You will receive your photos in an online gallery as soon as we finish editing. Your friends and family will have access via your approval and may purchase prints or downloads at their leisure. A hard drive of all your images will be sent to you. These will be in multiple formats so that you may print with the high resolution images or post the low resolution images on social media.
May we post these on social media and send to magazines?
Of course! We do ask you to tag us and give us photo credits when you post them. If you would like to submit them to a blog or publication, we would need to do that for you as the photographer and we will work with you to get you featured.
Do you create albums?
Yes, we love to create a collection of your favorites in a library bound professionally printed album. We will capture all of the details and moments that make the story of your wedding day. We have several options from which to choose and feel that a nice book is great for your coffee table. It just feels nice to have a book you can open up instead of only seeing your day on a mobile device.
May we print from the images you give us?
Absolutely! We highly recommend you use a professional printing lab and can refer some to you. The color and quality of paper far exceeds those of a regular drug store or printer you may have at home.
Do you have liability insurance?
We do and we can provide any of your other vendors with a certificate of proof of insurance.
Do you back up our images?
We back up all of our work on multiple hard drives to ensure your memories will be protected. We do highly recommend, after receiving your hard drive, that you back them up as well.
